PUBLICATIONS

Amanda Cole’s book on how Marjorie Barstow was an innovator in the pedagogical development of Alexander’s work is a rich and comprehensive tome – it puts the work within the historical context of a wider movement in education over the 20th century. Be warned – this is no light read, it is a meaty book that takes time to digest – but the effort will be richly rewarded, inspiring many teachers with deeper insights into their own teaching technologies.

Cole’s book will surely stand the test of time to become one of the seminal works we use to reference our understanding of the development of Alexander’s Discovery in the manner it is communicated to others.
